Isn't it about time we changed roadside drug testing laws so medicinal cannabis patients don't have to choose between driving, and the best treatment?
We're not talking about driving when you're impaired.
We're just campaigning on behalf of medicinal cannabis patients who risk at $603 fine and loss of licence for taking their prescription medicine.
Cannabis is the only prescription drug that is tested by police. We don't do it for endone, anti-depressants or opiates.
So the current laws are effectively forcing those with cancer, MS or epilepsy to choose between a night of pain-free sleep and the ability to drive their kids to school.
